PILF List

Ok so taking after @Epicpuckbunny and @anetka07 and our recent conversations, I’ve decided to let you all in to my sacred PILF list, or to be less vulgar, Top 15 Hottest Hockey Boys. Although looks are a majority of my reasoning, some personality traits determined their rankings.

It was hard to narrow it down to just 15, so I feel the need to give credit to some of the boys who didn’t make the cut.

  • Mike Richards: I didn’t think it was right to not have a Flyer on my list, so, Mikey Rich gets my consideration. Also, his West German BMW commercials really bother me, so no top list for you.
  • Jeff Skinner: He is absolutely adorable, and I love how he is just having the time of his life.  The kid doesn’t stop smiling.  I couldn’t put him on the list because I would feel like a child molester.
  • Alex Burrows: Well, not much explanation except that I had the list narrowed down to 16, and someone had to get moved.  You are a good looking guy, but sometimes I think you look weird.

Ok, the final cut….

15. Mike Green

Mike Green, Washington Capitals

Not a bad way to start of the list, eh?  One of the original members of my first 10 player PILF list two years ago.  Rawk the Hawk.  He has that young, boyish cuteness, and not the rip my clothes off sexiness.  Ok ok, aside from the looks he’s a great player too, nominated twice for the Norris.

14. Patrick Sharp

Patrick Sharp, Chicago Blackhawks

Next up, a Thunder Bay boy.  Oh Patrick, I’ve been a fan since your Calder Cup champion days here in Philadelphia.  I’ve really enjoyed following the Hawks closely the past few seasons, and you are a reason why.

13. Scottie Upshall

Scottie Upshall, CBJ

I still remember how sad I was the day Scottie got traded.  I enjoyed the eye candy at the Flyers game, but also the way played 110% every night.  It was a necessary move to make space for Claude Giroux, and Carcillo has grown on me.  Upshall used to be a lot higher up on my list, but after being traded to CBJ at the deadline this year, I just can’t follow his game as much.  Also, his girlfriend is super hott, so that drops him down a notch.  Flyers fans will probably be mad with this decision due to the hit he was suspended for.  Oh yea, can’t forget about those pictures of him and other Flyers hanging out with porn stars.

12. Maxim Lapierre

Maxim Lapierre, Vancouver Canucks

Ok, @epicpuckbunny and @lapierregirl may be mad that I didn’t rank Lapierre higher.  Tall, dark, and handsome so I’ll take some.  Although some drama surrounds him about his work ethic, I’m not bothered by it.  You are a sexy sexy man.

11. Michael Cammalleri

Michael Cammalleri, Montreal Canadians

Ok, this one should get no complaints. Who remembers those NHL commercials at the beginning of the season, with him working out all hard and sweating? #pantysoup  Of course he had to be injured this season when I went to a Flyers/Habs game.  Also, his last name (and father) are of Italian decent, so that’s a win win for me.

10. Rick DiPietro

Rick DiPietro, NY Islands

Ok, probably will get chirped at for this one.  Like I said, I based this list mostly on looks.  You can’t deny, he’s got a beautiful face.  The whole goalie fight this season definitely moved him back on my list.  He would have ranked much higher for me if it wasn’t one punch and out.  He still makes the list because, well, he is a goalie, so I’m ok with the fact that he can’t fight.  I’m sorry, he’s gorgeous, feel free to hate.

9. Jonathan Toews

Jonathan Toews, Chicago Blackhawks

I’m not sure if I really need to explain this one.  Nothing sexier than a captain who absolutely dominates.  He has really given his team a boost in the second half of the season.  I admit that he has been bumped down in my list because it still hurts picturing him hoisting the cup at game 6 in Philadelphia.  I just love my Canadian boys.

8. Taylor Pyatt

Taylor Pyatt, Phoenix Coyotes

I really don’t care how he plays, he’s just pretty.  I look forward to when BizNasty tweets pictures of him.  I really don’t have anything else to say here about this one haha

7. Ryan Kesler

Ryan Kesler, Vancouver Canucks

Ok, you all know what he looks like, so I had to go with this picture.  One of my favorite pictures.  He’s sexy, plays hockey, and is American??? He is absolutely killin it this season, and I love it!  Oh yea, and his body is pretty intense too.  I love watching the Canucks play, and he is a big reason.

6. Paul Bissonnette

Paul Bissonnette, Phoenix Coyotes

You are either going to hate me or love me for this one.  I’m sorry, but I’m sticking to it.  I was still new to twitter, didn’t know much about him, and then he was live in studio one day that I was watching NHL Live!  I was hooked.  He had a hat on like in the picture, and he was rockin it, for sure.  I immediately began following him on twitter and was hooked since.  I know a lot of you can’t stand him, but I do find him funny.  Even his crude comments I find sexy.  #pantysoup And yea, I do own BizNasty shirts from SauceHockey, what are you going to do about it?!

5. Joffrey Lupul

Joffrey Lupul, Toronto Maple Leafs

Ah, another former Flyer.  I was in heaven when the team had both Upshall and Lupul.  And they both got traded within a few months of each other!  The teams sexiness level has never been the same.  I continued to follow him a lot out in Anaheim, but must admit I haven’t watched much since he became a Maple Leaf.  Sorry Joffrey.

4. Justin Williams

Justin Williams, LA Kings

Justin gets 2 pictures because he was my first ever hockey love.  He started my puck bunny tendencies.  Until him, I just saw the players as athletes of the game I loved.  He changed it all for me 10 years ago.  The man is gorgeous.  He has always been an underrated player.  I am so happy that he is having a great (and healthy) season this year with LA.  I still remember the day he was traded.  Someone told me during lunch of my sophomore (i think) year of high school and I wanted to die instantly.  I kept up with the Hurricanes just for him, and am so proud of him for the Cup win.  Keep up the great work Justin 🙂

3. Jonathan Bernier

Jonathan Bernier, LA Kings

Ok, I can’t help this one.  I was hooked when I watched him last season when he played while Quick was out because of the birth of his child.  Doesn’t he just look gorgeous in this picture?  When there were rumors this past summer of Philadelphia trying to acquire him, I was ecstatic.  Not because of his ability, but clearly because of his looks.

2. Zach Parise

Zach Parise, NJ Devils

I hate hate hate the Devils, but Parise makes them tolerable.  Ah, another American boy.  Where are all these sexy non-Canadian players coming from?!?

aaaaaaaand drum roll please……

1. Carey Price

Carey Price, Montreal Canadians

Ok, you can’t complain about this one.  Seriously, how sexy is he?  Pretty crazy that my top three ranks included goalies.  He has really proved himself this year as the #1 goalie when the pressure was put on him.  It was a last minute decision as to who my top rank would be, but I’m confident in my choice.

Ok, the list is finally done.  Please feel free to comment back.

Sooo you like hockey eh?

In love with all things hockey.  Fell in love with the game at age 8 when my father took me to the game, after acquiring our 5th row Flyers season tickets.  He sat me down and explained the game before we went, and I have been hooked ever since.  I love my Flyers, but I follow all teams.  Educated female hockey fan.

Puck slut, uh I mean bunny

Ok, so I’m new at this…

I have never blogged before.  Also, I’m a math and science girl, grammar and writing were never my thing.  Thankfully my misspelled words get underlined and I can fix them before posting!  But do expect grammar errors.  You’ve been warned.  Enough of the boring stuff, and on to hockey!
